Congratulations Raiders! Air Rifle Team finishes 3rd in Area 9 Championship

Team Captain Julianna Cutter came in overall 3rd individually with a score of 284. The team now moves into the first round of the playoffs with a future home match.  Walton’s Julianna Cutter, Keagan Wicker, Luke Wilson, Winn Heege and Aidan Christian competed in the 10 team / 50 shooter Area 9 Championship which was

9 Teams, 45 shooters  competed at North Cobb High School for the Area 9 Championship. Walton won with a season high score of 1140,  Allatoona 2nd -1129 and Kennesaw Mountain 3rd -1126. Keagan Wicker took the individual high championship score -289, Michael Bae was 3rd (286), Alex Thibodeau (283), Ethan Bartnicki (282), Julianna Cutter (280).

Walton Air Rifle Team Beats Campbell in Season Opener

Walton Coed Precision Air Rifle Team out-shot Campbell in their first match of the season scoring 1111 to 984 (1200 being a perfect score).  The Walton team featured four returning athletes: team captain Michael Bae (sr.) – scored 280, Julianna Cutter (jr.) -286, Alex Thibodeau (so.) -270, Aidan Christian (so.) -268, and new Raider Keagan Wicker (so.) -275.
