Five Walton wrestlers named to the Cobb County All-County team

Walton wrestling wraps up the season with 4 placing in the State Tournament

Before the Winter Break, Walton Wrestling sent seven qualifiers to the individual State Tournament in Macon. The Raiders racked up a 6th place finish for Freshman, Caden Canzano (106); and 2nd place finishes for Senior, Cole Hixon (195) and Sophomore, Jonathan Chesser (220). For the first time this year, the Girls State tournament was held

7 Walton wrestlers head to State Championships this week

It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks to wrap up the wrestling season, beginning with the Regional championships at Etowah on Feb. 2, where the team finished in 2nd place, qualifying 11 wrestlers and 1 alternate for Sectionals. This past weekend, the 11 qualifiers headed to Sectionals in Lowndes County, where 7 of them

Walton Wrestling heads to State Duals in Macon!

Walton wrestlers qualified for the State Duals in Macon this week with a 2nd place finish in the region last weekend. Competition starts Thursday vs. Camden County.  Wish them luck!
