Several Walton Raider football players have picked up postseason awards for their stellar play during the season. Senior offensive lineman Blake Landon, sophomore wide receiver Dominick Blaylock, and sophomore linebacker Malik Adams were named first-team All-Region 4AAAAAAA by the region coaches, while senior quarterback Addison Shoup, senior defensive linemen Kamian Brooks and Matt Smith, and junior wide receiver/defensive back Chandler Smith were named honorable mention. Blaylock was named second-team All-Cobb County by the Marietta Daily Journal, while Brooks, Landon, Shoup, Chandler Smith, and Matt Smith as well as senior punter Matt Fitzpatrick and sophomore defensive back Drew Michalek were named honorable mention. Finally, Dominick Blaylock was also named honorable mention All-State by the Georgia Sportswriters Association as well as a second team sophomore All-American by MaxPreps and the offensive MVP at the US Army All-American Bowl national combine.
