The varsity football team will host neighborhood rival Pope on Friday, September 2nd, at 7:30pm in Raider Valley. The game is a “Teal Out” in honor and support of Walton teacher Christina Diaz and her family in her fight against cancer. The program will begin at 7:00, so please be early and wear your teal! Other activities will include a tribute to Dave Savulla, longtime coach in the Junior Raider football program, Junior Raider Night for all football players and cheerleaders from 1st through 8th grades, and a celebration of all individual and team state champions from last winter and spring. Presale tickets will be available at Walton from 10:30 to 1:30 on Friday in the Commons, $6 for adults (or $10 reserved) and $5 for students, or you can purchase on Friday night at the ticket booth starting at 6:00pm for $7 general admission or $10 reserved. Parking on campus is $5 and free parking is available across the street at Dodgen Middle School. See everyone in Raider Valley for Friday night football!
